Syriana: This is a current film(as of 1.15.06), and fiction... I just saw it on the big screen last week. It probably belongs in the "more important" category, but I'll put it here so that maybe it will catch your attention, and you'll go see it. It does take considerable attention to follow, and it will help a lot if you know something of government, and the oil industry. However I recommend it because I think it may shine a light for some on the sort of things that could be making the world turn...
Quest for Fire: I have liked this movie for a long time... It tells a rather dramatic tale of prehistoric man.
Office Space: You've probably seen this, but if you haven't, it is a riot!

The Corporation: This is a recent film (2005) that takes a look at some of the problems of our largely corporate run society. A must see.Koyaanisqatsi: An interesting film about the world we live in and how we affect it. (also see Powaqqatsi)
Farenheit 911: Likely you've seen this... And it probably mad for one reason or another. It may or may not all be undisputable fact, but if any of it is true... that's bad! This is old news, but a decent intro for the layman to some of the quirks of our government.
The Future of Food: Think you know what you are eating? Think Again! This is a must watch!
Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price: This just came out a couple of months ago... It takes a look at how Wal-Mart, as the worlds largest company, affects American's lives and the injustices it perpetuates in the business world. You need to see this one...
